Just ordered np9880

well I ordered it late last week.. and 2 days after it shipped they started this back to school promotion thing.. (lol just my luck eh?) but yeah.. anyways.. I should be getting it sometime today.... I doubt it but is there anyway I could send it back.. and have a reconfigured order and just pay the difference? well the main thing I want is the wuxga display

so, is this possible at all... and would I have to pay shipping there and back again?

i think u can get the price different if you have not recieved your laptop yet doesnt hurt if u call and ask since the price is lower(if you ordered from pct)

I wish I did order from pct I could of ordered without an os and saved a bit of money too >.< I ordered it from sagernotebook.com and I believe the ups truck that just went down my street is turning around with my laptop on it...

LoL...the exact same thing happened to me. Two days after ordering, the back to school special kicked in and would have saved me $26 on the configuration that I had just ordered. Given that the sales dept had given me a $30 discount on the unit, due to the fact that I pointed out a discrepancy in prices for identical units, dependent upon whether you started the build from the 9880-A, or the 9880-C, I guess I can't complain too much...

Don't worry too much about not getting the WUXGA screen. You'll be happier reading text with the WSXGA.

Anyway...my daughter is at home (summer vacation) with instructions to call me as soon as UPS drops it off...

It's here!!! Now...as soon as my relief manager gets in, I can go home early with a bad case of sageritis.
