Just got my Inspiron 6000D

so w00t! It finally came.

Now I have problems... or questions... and complaints.

First off. I was going to pin mod my 1.6 to run at 2.13. So I ordered the 1.6 (400). The order says 1.6 (400), the packing slip says 1.6 (400), so I opened my laptop all the way up and started to remove the processor heatsink and what do I see on top of the processor? 730.

Anyways. I guess I'll live with the 1.6 (533).

Secondly, where is the WindowsXP cd creation utility? I want to format!

A lot of people--including myself--also did not have the XP CD creation utility included on their computer. Call Dell and complain, I suppose.

Go to the Dell online chat support, request the OS CD and they will you send it to you.

i heard they issue the CD's for free..so contact them within your return period and i'm sure they will comply
