I run at 1920x1200 of course, and I have everything set to high (except texture filtering which is set to medium and AA which is off), view scale 100%. Everything is smooth until I get lots of particle effects on the screen, usually caused only by artillery. It doesn't get in the way of gameplay since artillery blows me up if I'm close enough to see those particle effects.
with 2Gigs of Ram you should be able to have everything on high and 4xAA ON with no slowdowns, just like me

Yeah, seriously. I'm running my 9300 with 2 gigs at 1600 x 1200, 2x AA, everything high except shadows. It averages around 35-40 FPS, which is good enough for me. You should be able to crank up your settings on your XPS 2. Oh, someone asked about frames per second, get FRAPs. www.fraps.com. free program, easy to use, blah blah blah...

I guess I'll try it with 2xAA and 4xAA on.

Hit "~" to go into the console and type Renderer.drawfps 1.
I had to keep doing it every time I joined a server, but it's quick and I do it before I join a team.
