I am also having problems with Neverwinter Nights and the Ati I am thinking of having them ship me the Nvidia and sending the ATI back. I know Ati is notorious for having driver problems but this is a little to much for me. I also can seem to be able to register on ther website so I can download drivers. Any help would be appreciated. Oh and I found that if you drop the res down on Call of Duty to 1024 etc. it runs stable also try turning of the X gear. 3d simulated 5.1 I am going to try it with the 3d sound and at hi res and then both together to see if and when it crashes I'll let yall know what the resultes are.
Update seems to work fine at 1024x ect. pluse 3d sound and eax 3 had one almost crash but its because I hit the windows button I was able to click on Call of Duty through the mottled screen and everything was fine and my color setting came back.
Update 2 Just updated my drivers to 7.93 colors are much better a little light but not like before and hibernate works. More to come going to look at game performance next.
Update 3 Call of Duty Demo 1600x 1200 runs smooth most of the time. However it crashes same place everytime even after new drivers and washed out the display passed the default settings. I am going to try it once again with lower settings.
Final recomendation till they get this driver problem fixed play on lower res. with all bells and whisles however if it crashed go back to previous save. This only wroks for CoD.
