Help me resurrect My Laptop

I have a Sager NP2150 L3 laptop with a p400. THe motherboard has died on me. I believe there were some hairline cracks in it before it died. I use to be able to push down over the video portion and it would go through with a boot. Now it does nothing. Sager wants $480.00 to repair. I really enjoyed this laptop while it was working and I want to get it working within reason. I want to know if someone has the same machine with a broken LCD or something that they are willing to part out.
IF not, I will sell it. It has a nice 14" screen, and upgraded RAM. I think it is at 256Mb now.
PLEASE Help. Dig through your parts and see what you find. For your search junkies--->I'll pay a small finders fee too.

Why dont you just buy the motherboard for $40 or 50 and redo the whole thing yourself!?!? Surely its not worth selling...you wont even get 200 (is this optimistic!?!?) for it...

See if you can open her up, take out the motherboard...and put the new one in...you might have to do a spot of soldering but its nothing that a local techie cant help you out with...

Thanks for the quick reply. I am not sure where to find a Motherboard for such a low price. I would be glad to do it myself. I have had the whole thing apart twice looking for the problem. It is a multilayer board. I doubt that I could fix it. Do you have a resource for the Motherboard other than Sager computers?
