Its really not complicated. If You have Nero it has a make boot CD mode. So just add your Phlash16 and your bios file to that then burn. During the startup press F8 to itemize what boots then all you have to do is select no for the himem 386 which is the very first thing that tries to load. Then just select yes for everything else. If this is to hard for you your fooling your self. FREE YOUR MIND
Also keep in mind once your booted with the boot cd you will have to change from the A: drive to either D: or E: Depending on how many HD Partitions you have to see the other files you placed on the cd. Otherwize all your going to see is your bootup files.
So here is an example of what to do
Burn Boot CD (which should include your Phlash16.exe and zf3_3a21.wph)
Restart the computer and Press F2 to go into your Bios.
Once in the bios Select the Boot Tab and put your CD/DVD drive at the top of the list. Then press F10 to save changes and restart.
This time when your computer starts just as the Ferrari Picture goes away hit F8 (this will anitialize the Itemized boot) Then make sure you select N for the very first string (or boot sequence) after that just hit the Y key for every other string and let everything else load.
Once you reach the command prompt A:\ type D: and ENTER (if you have a single partitioned HD) OR type E: and ENTER (if your HD is setup with two partitions like mine)
Now type DIR then Enter if you wish to verify your on the right drive by seeing if your two files Phlash16.exe and the bios update file show.
If they are there then your ready for the final String....
Type phlash16 zf3_3a21.wph at the command prompt... Now your bios should begin updating and your computer will start beeping louder than any smoke detecter I've probably ever heard before until its done LOL...... Mine did anyway....
Ok this concludes my long windedness. Hope it worked for you
Gotta have the Latest bios Hello!!!!
