Hi .

Very quick question
It says that the top res on my laptop is 1920 by 1200
Can i get a setting higher then that ?

No. That is the the native, and therefore max, res of a WUXGA LCD.

i thought i have seen a inspiron 6800 with a higher res. But i was probably wrong

Considering that most LCDs are currently around 1280*1024, the 1920*1200 is plentiful and most likely excess with current software without using any text enlargement or the likes. Most video cards cannot play games at 1920 by 1200 resolution (particuarally newer ones) and some older ones do not have support for it. There is no real need for anything larger then 1920 by 1200 or even 1920 by 1200 really atm, why would you want more!?
