Im going to be buying a seperate monitor for my 12 inch powerbook (1.5,512,64 vid) from newegg (apple displays are way too much money). I would like to get a 19 inch display but am not sure how well my PB would work with it. I am hoping to use it as dual display so what size would everyone recomend or what size do they currently use (17,19, dual display or just the monitor). Thanks!

I have this memory installed in my Inspiron 14R. 6gb (one 2gb & one 4gb). Great performance! I highly recommend Kingston.

either one seems like a good deal given where u r at size-wise.
if the screen-spanning function of your PB works w/ widescreens that might be an option too. the Dell 20" widescreen would be pretty sweet, but i'd make sure that the split GPU could drive it. i think i've seen it sell for as little as $400 w/ discounts. keep your eye on it.
i personally use a 19" CRT (4:3) from my desktop, with my iBook when i need to. very nice.

Yeah, look into that Dell monitor. I typically hear people raving about them on the Mac forums, saying if they can't have an ACD, that's their second choice. Never tried it myself, just strictly hear-say. Your computer could power up to the 23" versions.
Personally, I have a 17" CRT I plug into sometimes when I'm curious on the colors of certain images. Otherwise, I like to work strictly with the laptop and nothing else, other than the power adapter. Amazing how cluttered desks can seem when they start adding up the different apparatuses that turn your laptop into a desk ornament.
