Price matching

I purchased an Inspiron 6000 on July 22. At the time it was 25% off. Now I see it is 34% off. Will Dell refund me the difference because it has only been two weeks since I purchased mine? I also used my 12% EPP discount if that makes any difference.

I doubt it, although you can try complaining, they may do something for you, even if its not giving you the discount.

call dell and threaten to return, this generally gets the best results

good luck on that one. I gave it a try a while back and they said that since it was a coupon with expiration dates, if you didn't purchase it within the specified dates, they cannot price match it for you since it was a coupon-related purchase

I didn't use a coupon though. It was an instant 25% off at the time. I'm still going to try. It is a $300 difference so I'm going to do everything I can.

Worst comes to worst you can return the system and then reorder it

Yea, especially since you're in the 21-days (Or whatever the time limit is) to return.

if you dont like what they offer you, just return and re-purchase, you often get a better deal anyways, i know i did the 2nd time

Their official policy is that they will provide compensation if the price changes not due to a coupon or a promotion. That means, you're probably not going to get anything for the deal they have now, aside from the $100 they will probably offer you to keep it and not return it.

and the $100 might be by way of a concession coupon for later use and not an actual credit. I was lucky enough to get both.
