[Z71v] SO-DIMM sockets & S-ATA

Hi there,

I've got an Asus Z71v (1x 256MB DDR2 and 40GB 4200rpm IDE). I've bought one module of 512MB DDR2 and one hdd of 80GB 5400rpm S-ATA.

But:
- I only can find ONE socket for the memory. Aren't there two sockets, or am I blind?
- I can't use my new HDD because the fact it doesn't "fit" (connection). I think I need something like this (I've got this), but one for S-ATA. Am I Right?

One memory slot is on the bottom of the computer, and the other one is under the keyboard. you have to remove the 2 "k" screws on the bottom and push the three tabs on the top of the keyboard to get it out.

And your reseller should have included an SATA connector with the notebook. If they didn't, you should ask them why.

Ah, I couldn't find the memory slot under the keyboard (I didn't know it was there). Now I found it.

I'll ask my reseller why he didn't include the SATA connector.
