Can anyone help with this? When I first bought my msi 510c, the fan almost never came on. I could surf, use word and adobe photoshop w/out the fan. Another thing was that the cpu base clock speed stayed at 2-400 mhz. Now it's 600 for the base speed, and the fan is wlays on, whethre it's just at idle or just using word. Then, i decided to use some thermal paste. I botched the application, but had already scraped the thermal pad off of the heatsink. luckily, I was able to get a new heatsink with the same thermal pad. Is there any way I can lower the minimal cpu speed (sorry for my ignorance if this is an obvious question 
) and get the fan to not come on for minimal applications?
