I'm sure some of you have tried overclocking the GPU. I've tried this using ATITool, letting it figure out the highest settings automatically. I then bumped the core and memory down 5 MHz to be safe. What I want to know is if this will cause damage, and if there's any particular thing to watch out for. Also, I'm interested in the results, especially any of you who have the Mobility Radeon 7500 32 MB like I do. My core speed went up to 300 MHz and memory up to 263 MHz. 3DMark01 was 5341, up from around 3900.

Any overclocking runs the risk of damage to your computer components; it doesn't matter if you overclocked by 10Mhz or 1000Mhz.
What you should watch out for is artifacts.
Artifacts are lines, squares and other things in games that shouldn't be there.
When playing a game, sometimes objects will be distorted or faces will appear a single color.
Just watch out for anything out of the ordinary.
