Calling All A4 owners (update) and favor?

First off I did get the additional DDR 1 GB and 512 to work, I placed the 1 GB in the 1st slot, then the 512 on the top. Wondering though if I had a duplicate 1 Gb in slot 2 (top) if it would run in dual channel mode?

Anyway the favor, for thos who own the A4-S211 and use the on-board GPU and OR other audio for games (slot II, firewire etc)

If I could have any users that use the onboard sound do a favor for me it would be appredciated.

Presently my ATIX600 and my Sound Max driver currently share IRQ 11. I called tech support and both people I talked to had ATI600 on IRQ 10. I did a complete system recorvery and still have this issue.

FAVOR: If you own a A4 with X600 could you please go to control panel>system>hardwaretab>devicemanager then select view resource by connection and look at IRQ and report to me what your sound card IRQ (on-board) and ATIX600 are (IRQ) are using that would be helpful and whether or not you can play unreal 2004.

I did a small test where I disabled the audio (on board via control panel) and sure enough it worked with no glitches.

Thanks

WinXP makes IRQ manual management useless.

Check for this, right-click My Computer, choose Properties, choose Hardware, choose Device Manager, open Computer, see if you have ACPI Uniprocessor PC.

If not, well, like Dexter would say, you're doomed. Actually not, I'd help, but I do not remeber how to solve that problem since it only happened to me once, when I fiddled and messed it up.

Black screen at full resolution? Please, just press Fn+F5 2-3x and back into the game. It works for me.
