I saw this website http://www.devon-computers.net and they are selling top brand computers to amazing prices. I just wonder if someone here have heard of them or something?

Well, one thing is that the systems are used. I'm confused. Are they leasing the system to you?

Anyway, their prices don't seem all that great. Best Buy has some better Sony systems for just about $300-500 more, and they're brand new. If I was going to buy any reconditioned/refurbished notebook, I would only do it from the manufacturer itself. Something about this operation seems shady. Well, maybe not shady, but it just doesn't seem worth it.

sorry sony, toshiba ibm and apple are not top brands, toshiba is probably the worst brand out there followed by sony, ibm isnt bad but they are way too expensive to be competative, apple is not an x86 platform

Okey maybe it´s not so good prices for you who live in Usa, but for me in Sweden it´s killer cheap. Okey that the systems allready have been used make it less fun but I don´t think all computers are used pretty much. It´s an outlet too where they sell last years computers and so on.

Pr50wner: I don´t know what you think are a top brand in laptops, but I think for example Sony, Ibm, Toshiba and Apple does make very nice laptops and that they are the best manufactors.
