The Latitude d610 with x300 RUNS BF2 fine! (benchmarks inside)

Ok I decided to try out BF2 demo on a new Dell Latitude d610 with the 64MB ram X300.

The laptop:

Latitude d610, 2 GHZ centrino 533 Mhz FSB, 1GB RAM, 7200 RPM 60 GB, Omega drivers, ati x300 overclocked with ATI tools (385,260) Could probably clock higher...

The game settings:

Battlefield 2 demo

deafault level (multiplayer size 32 map, on internet server)

1024 x 768

all medium settings, except
filtering = low
and AA = off

avarage fps around 30-35 even when in battle.

Actually not that bad for a low end card.

Thats really good,I wonder how the 128mb X300 in the 6000d would run that game at stock settings.

We've got 40 of basically that exact same system(except with 80 gig drives) at work and it's real good to know that they will run BF2. So far, I've been real happy with them, we only really use them for 1 piece of software but out of the 40 I haven't had a single hardware problem with any of them.

Its a solid card had it with my i9300 1.7ghz x300 64ram 2gb and playd bf full game for 1 year on it on low settings 1024x768. OC though to 390/280 stable. But now got xps -----------============go 7950GTX 512ram==========---------- and can finally enjoy the game like it ment to b (highest all) and COD4. 2 years after it come out x7900 gtx still is very powerful card. thats very amazing in computer world coz if u take a desctop card from 2 years back it wont be so hot those days...

its like switching from economy on long distance flight to business/1st class. a world of differnece.

Once you do it you aint ever going back... oh I love God! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

x300 was my little baby cruiser. go 7950 is a mother ship... hahaha
