To repair fan or not repair...
The fan of my Ferrari 4005 is making a very little noise sometimes (But not always) , like if there was a grain of sand stuck in the fan.
This is very minor... and I don't think Acer would repair this...it's just that I'm a perfectionist... Also, I don't want to have another Ferrari, because this one has 0 dead pixels. So I was asking myself, if I open my Ferrari (I've done that really often with IBM and Toshiba laptops, so I know how to do it) will I void my warranty? How do Acer know if I've opened it or not? Cause I think I've got a solution to fix this, inserting a very little drop of oil inside the fan (Fan normally have a little opening at the bottom under the sticker to insert oil) and cleaning the area surrounding the fan. What do you think about that? |
