By no doubt, you mean like +9% (according to 3DMark05 scores), right?

Wait a sec, I've never seen the 6600 or X700 MOBILITY to be offered with 256MB of RAM... strange....

Same... where are these deals? Anyways, it depends largely on the abilities of the laptop. For example, the Asus Z71V is pretty small and constricted (purposely, so its small and light!), so the 6600 Go that's in there will usually top out at around 2300. On the other hand, the 6600 Go in other laptops--like the MSI 1032--are typically much better, achieving up to 2800 with the same 6800 Go. On the other hand, the majority of the X700 bandwidth marks come from the Ferrari 4005, which is the same way. Whether or not the Z70Va, for instance, can get higher scores or not depends on a lot of factors.

Basically, it depends on the laptop.

CORRECTION: I accidentily said the MSI1029 had a 6600 Go, when in fact it was the MSI 1032.

it dempends on the notebook, but the Uniwill laptop that has the 6600 is not cooled very well or atleast the generation before it didn't so I would have to say the X700

Also, the MSI 1029 is smaller than the z71v, by a little bit (also weighs slightly less):

z71v: 14.0” x 10.8” x 1.4”
MSI 1029: 13.98" (L) x 10.04" (D) x 1.18" (H)

U need to get urself out from under the rock ur living, and do a little reasearch before bashing on other pple's knowledge. There are several laptops with 256mb 6600s and x700, 2 of them being the sager 4880 and one on cyberpower.com, the exact name slips my mind right.

yes there its, but its the sager 9880 with the 256mb x800 and if you are getting that machine you might as well get a 6800 ultra in it and have the fastest card on the block for the moment.

My apologies! I typed that in a hurry this morning; I meant tos ay the MSI 1032 has a 6600. I've corrected my post above to reflect the change.

The other laptop that currentlly offers a 256MB X700 is ECS' G600 (there's also a 128MB variant). I would, however, steer clear of this laptop as it's build quality is atrocious and it gets extremely hot.

the 6800 ultra go is not the fastest mobile card on the market. the X800 XT PE is.
