Acer Aspire 5022 WLMI - Wireless button doesn't work anymore
Hi everybody,
I have Acer Aspire 5022 WLMI which was ok until yesterday. Configuration is Windows XP Home. When I want to establish a wireless connection, I have usually to enable first the Wifi by pressing the button in the front of the laptop just before the keyboard. When pressing it, I have a message indicating on screen that the Wireless connection is enabled, and the button turns to orange. Now when I press this button, nothing changes anymore and it never goes to orange or indicates that the wireless is active. Anybody had this problem before? What would you do? Reinstall as per the original install of XP Home as done when machine is fresh? Thanks (obviously it is rather urgent). Gilbert |
