Help! WinXP Pro can not be installed on Amilo M3438

Hi everybody :-)

I need help, I've tried to install WinXP Professional on my Amilo M 3438, but it didn't found the SATA drivers. Then I create a custom CD, with the SATA drivers included, instalation start properly, everything was OK untill the first restart, after copyng all the files, the computer restarts, start loading windows and BUMM - blue screen. Tryed everything, customize a CD with SP2, without, format the C partition, has tryed on D partition, the same result, blue screen. Please, if somebody has succeed to install WinXP Pro on Amilo M 3438, let share his experience with everybody, I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. 10x in advance

Thanks for the reply Rilli, I check the site, but they didn't say anything new. I allready did the custom WinXP Pro instalation, and everything is OK with the SATA Raid drivers, the instalation is finding the hard drive, I can format, than the files are copyed properly, the problem is coming after the 1st restart.... I install Windows on another computer (desktop) without any problems, so my costomized windows instalation is OK.

I used Nlite to merge SATA drivers with an XP Pro SP2 disc image. I remember some confusion as to what driver to use for the installation, ended up burning several iso images until I found one that worked.

I solve the problem. BIOS update from 1.01 to 1.06, than everything is OK with the same instalation CD.

Thanks to everybody :-)
