I bought my Dell 8200 for a good three years and it still works perfectly fine (luckily).
However, my laptop got extremely dirty over these years so one day, I decided to operate a deep cleaning on my laptop. At the end, I gave up because I coudln't open up my laptop but ever since this incidence... some problems appeared... 1. My touch pad and eraser tip is not working anymore 2. For some reason the key F9 is automatically pressed and help screens appear on every application that i use. I might have unplugged something inside the computer and that's why it's causing a problem. All I need to do is just plug it back in but I've been trying to find a map of the hardware for my dell but it's no where to be found. Does anyone know where I can find a map so I can open up my computer and fix these little issues that i am currently experiencing? 3. I am a fan of wow, but ever since i started playing wow, the resolution size on my screen is out of whacked. It all started when I still had the game running and I decided to close my laptop so it would go into sleep mode. When I turn on the computer again, the LCD woudl show my window like a size of a piece of note card, possibly like 4 by 6 inch or something like that. i don't know what i can do to fix that problem, now when i run wow and play on my laptop, it plays as the size of 4x6in screen. I really love to play wow and i don't htink i can live like this any longer if i have to play in such a small screen. Can anyone please help? ![]() |

1.) It sounds like you unplugged the little "ribbon" cable for the touchpad and either did not plug it back in or it's not inserted all the way in.
2.) Try blowing out/cleaning any debris that might be under the F9 key or unplug and connect it again as firmly as you can. If neither solve the problem, you may need a new keyboard. 3.) Seems WoW is trying to play in a low resolution (possibly 640x480 or 800x600) and your monitor is not set to "scale image to panel size". There should be an option somewhere in Display Properties-->Advanced to allow image scaling. Good Luck! |
