z70va audio buttons

I recently got my Asus z70va and I must say this is an incredible machine. I was just wondering if there is a way to set the audio buttons on the side to manage iTunes even if it is not the active application, such as while I'm playing WoW. I have read the thread regarding the buttons being used for Winamp, but I haven't seen anything like that for iTunes.

You'll need the iTunes multi-plugin. http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=29035
once installed.. go to edit-preferences-multi-plugin-compatibility..check "fix media keys functionality, and set it on "mode 2"

Will this plug-in work with earlier versions of iTunes? I am using 4.9 due to the fact that with ourTunes I am able to download music from other peoples shared libraries through my dorm's network.

Okay, I just tried and it is not compatible with older versions of iTunes. Are there any other similar programs that might be functional with v4.9? I'm not sure if using the media buttons outweighs missing out on all that free music I could be listening to.

As far as I know, the HControl replacement will work with the older version of iTunes...
