Installing 350 bluetooth

Just bought an XPS gen 2 w/o bluetooth and want to put it in. I was just wondering if i need to purchase a cable along with the little pcb card? When i took off the the bluetooth cover on the notebook, there's a little plug there that i assume plugs right into the bluetooth 350 pcb. Anyone know for sure?

You do need a cable. Just received one that I ordered from Dell SB for my 8600. When ordering ask for the cable, however, I think it is included by the way my Dell 350 BT card arrived. I paid $20.XX shipped for mine btw.

No you do not need the cable. The XPS Gen2 connector will plug right into the module.

My bad,...Planet-Ed is right. No cable required for the XPS gen 2

No cable required. And remember to download the Bluetooth drivers from the Dell website. It's a definite MUST to get; the drivers that come with the Bluetooth module doesn't support a lot of stuff and is featureless.
