No, it's not.

Well, it wasn't with the Ultra's and I don't see why it would be with the 7 series.

NiBiToR and nVFlash are the easiest way to flash a video card. Its quick and easy to create your .ROM's and then you just put them on a floppy or USB flash drive with the nVFlash files and reboot and select the files you created. There is no need to browse for directories or anything. Its also actually recommended not to flash an nVidia card with anything but nVFlash as well because nVFlash is nVidia's actual BIOS flashing tool.

Done. Surpassed 8000 with 490/1250. There are artifacts on ATItool but FEAR for 2 hours was fine with a temp of 76. That's 21% above stock (6600). Pretty cool.

ac,

I turned off Vsync and can now play FEAR at 1400x1020 with max settings except for AA at 2x and AF at 8x with an avg FPS of 50, min 30.

Dropped core to 485 after seeing artifacts in the game.

Actually, atitool isn't stating there are artifacts. It's just that I assumed the yellow specs are artifacts.

I hear people talking about changing voltages on the video card? How do you do that? My 7800 won't overclock at all without artifacting.

Yea mine kinda does the same. I have it at 435 1250, but there is still some artficating, and it gets mad hot. I've seen it get up to 98 C Under ATI Tool and a few games, not sure especially since I AS5'ed the bitch.

I have AS5 on mine too. I play Call of Duty 2 at 1680x1050 max details and it runs so sweet. My GPU never gets higher than 70C (checked the log in i9kfangui). I have no idea why it won't overclock worth a poo though!
