I'm reformating my 7700 and have a question I was wondering if anyone could help me out with. I've reinstalled all the drivers I have, but in my device manager, there is still a 'multimedia controller' that I cant figure out what its refering to. Any ideas? |

updated my keyboard and system bios after waiting on the tech support line for like 40 mins. But now, I have FAN CONTROL!!! Totally worth it! Thanks all of you (and Hosie for asking if this added fan support, otherwise I would not have updated...)
EDIT- This also has fixed my fan chirp (squeak) problems!!! Last edited by ladron; 12-07-2005 at 12:38 AM. |

Suggest that you heard from somewhere (Hmm... wonder where?) that people have been having success stopping this noise with the new KBC and system bios updates and that you'd also like the nifty new feature of Fn-F2 turning your fans on high. 4. Assure them that your machine is not overheating for about 10 minutes. That's how I got them to allow the BIOS update - They're very stingy about allowing BIOS updates, but if you're persistent, you can enjy the Fn-F2 goodness! Good luck! |

I have the MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-845S Drive in my system. I have been doing some ripping of my collection into iTunes and seem to be noticing some buffering issues with the drive. Is there any updated drivers for this device that you know off?
Anybody else having similar problems? I am now looking for a second drive to use in the system any advice would be appreciated! Thank you. |
