You need to get something like styleXP to load the screen. You can do it manually, but it can really FUBAR your computer. I'd have to to find the manual way again and don't feel like it right now.

Counter Terrorist Unit
This got me really interested when i saw this thread, so i tried the DOD one and its brilliant, then i found the FBI one, the Counter Terrorist Unit one too. However, the file i found for CTU has some sort of browser plugin embedded into it and you cant install it without being forced to install the browser plugin. Does anyone have the StyleXP file for the CTU logon screen?
The DOD one looks sweet on my PC and on my Alienware M5500. :-) |

ya most files will have these addons. You could always install it on an old comp and just copy the file u need to where you want it. That or run a program like spy sweeper to get rid or it

Is there any chance or could you tell me how to do a 1680x1050 version? I tried the 1920x1200 version you did and it looks good, just slightly unproportional. Is there a userguide which shows you how to edit existing ones to change the size? Thanks, i can easily make the actual background image in the 1680x1050 size if you want, just dont knoe how to make the stylexp Logon file. Thanks |

How do you get StyleXP to work? Do I really need to pay the money or isn't there a free trial I could use? And I had the same question as mgl since I'm runing 1680 x 1050 as well.

I found a guide on Google. There is a program that lets you extract the images from the login file. I edited the file and put it back in the login file.

StyleXP wouldn't open for me. I downloaded the file from the author's site and installed it, but it wanted a validation code or something even though I thought it said it was a free trial. Anybody help me out here?
