So I'm going to take my laptop casing in on Tuesday to be painted, I was going in to get it painted Pearl White, but then it hit me that it'll be like an Ibook now OH NO!!!! I was looking for this type of a look

But I'm having second thoughts, what custom colors do you guys like?? Maybe Orange?

Orange might look cool, as well as black.

YEah I'm going to do a LCD replacement so I decided that it was a good time for me to get a paint job, to give my 9300 a new look.

What kind of LCD are you putting in? My search for a better LCD have currently hit a brick wall (Dell is offering to replace my panel with a different LG one, but I bet it'll look just as bad).

Yeah just that the LG WUXGA one, I'm not really picky on this stuff and I find that I have really good eye sight 20/20 so I'll manage, I'm a firm beliver that as long as pixels are not dead and LCD is a good LCD if you enjoy the resolution. For instance when people say the text is this or that, or the sharpness of the screen I belive that all of this can be adjusted through programs and settings, I mean if I was comfortable with a WXGA for 4-5 months then I should be comfortable with a WUXGA, I hope at least. I'll just buy a new laptop next christmas *crosses fingers*

I work on Cars in my spare time I currently own 2 Toyota MKIV's a NON turbo and a Turbo, theyre Red and Black a 93 and a 94

I've always wanted the RSP every since the beginning of time, if I can locate a small amount of this paint, I might just paint it RSP= Royal Saphire Pearl, I never got around to painting my own cars because I can't ever justify spending 2-3 grand on a paint job, but paiting my Laptop to this might be the next best thing lolol

I still think the white looks cool. Screw Apple, who cares?

"Wow, is that an iBook?"

"Well, it's just like an iBook, but it plays all the latest games as soon as they hit the shelf, instead of 5 years after the fact, and it can run thousands more software titles than a regular iBook."

"Wow! What is it?"

"A PC."

I hope you enjoy the new LCD. I'm somewhat considering the WUXGA but my eyesight is pretty bad.

wow these forums are letting me down... I guess i am the only car nut here. Nice Supras dude. What turbo are you running on the black one? I am assuming it is yours (and i am assuming you have more tact that to put the fake ebay air intake kit that looks like an intercooler on a mint black supra) so the red one must be NA.

Cool laptop color would be a pearl white with a ultra bright light blue tint.

Get it painted with flip flop paint.

That would look pretty cool, never seen a notebook with it.
