Installing XP Pro - HELP!!!

Greetings All,

This is just unbeliveable, I cannot install XP Pro on this Laptop at all. I have a Fujitsu 3438 Laptop...

I have:
- Created a Custom Install CD with the Latest RAID Drivers.
- Created a Custom Install CD with Older RAID Drivers.
- Updated to the Latest BIOS.
- Tried Upgrading from XP Home to XP Pro.

I can format and Partition the Drive and Copy the Files and Start the Install. As soon as Windows wants to Start for the First time I get a BSOD!

This all ends up at a BSOD!

I am out of Ideas. Any help will be most welcome!!!!!

Thanks

- load Setup Defaults in BIOS
- check your RAM with memtest http://www.memtest.org/

What tells the bluescreen to be the corrupted file?

Integrated Servicepack 2? Did you try xp-iso-builder and nlite? Do you have another XP CD to try (maybe it is damaged?)?

I have tried:

- XP Oringinal without SP
- XP Copy from Friend without SP
- XP Copy with SP1
- XP Copy with SP2

I used NLite.

I Used DIY to add drivers to ISO Build.

Not sure what else to try....

Just some info for people having trouble installing XP Pro on FJC 3438.

OK, After alot of Testing and Playing around I have found a working Solution.

Using NLite to Create the Image cause my XP Pro install to BSOD. When I created a Image using XP ISO Builder using the same settings and drivers the Install worked perfectly.

Initially I thought it could have been Language dependant as when Borkar Tried to Install the laptop he used XP Pro German and it worked fine. Then I tried my Image again and it BSOD!

Conclusion:

USE XP ISO BUILDER!!!!!!

no problem. For everybody else who read this thread:
XP-Iso-Builder can be downloaded here: http://www.webdesign-schiek.de/xpisobuilder/
After you have installed the program, you can switch languages to English.
