4200rpm Hard Disk or 7200rpm Hard Disk?
I have a D500P from the UK but mine didnt come with a 7200rpm HDD and there wasnt an option to get one anyway. However I am considering buying a 7200rpm 60Gb disk but was wondering whether there are any significant performance increases. I have noticed that the laptop takes longer to install programs than my significantly slower desktop and I am convinced that this causes a severe bottleneck. I would just like to know if anybody else on this forum has upgraded from the 4200rpm to the 7200rpm?? And whether it is worth the extra £180.
