Power Supply : D/Port Docking @ DC-Power ?! Which Adapter ?
I want to use my NB for a CarPC Project.
-> My D/Port should run in Car I already tried some Universal-DC-Adapter but I get this Warning : "Your System is docked, but the AC Power Adapter type cannot be determined. Either undock or insert an appropriate Adapter. Strike F1 key to shutdown." When I use the Adapter directly with the Notebook (D810) i get also a warning, but this one can bei disabled (by "F3" or in Bios) and everything works fine... The Adapter has 120Watts, but the D/Port and NB only need 90. Dell does not accept every Power Supply and now i want to know which i can use with the Docking in Car. Would it work with the Lind 1320 ? http://www.lindelectronics.com/cgi-b...detail_product Anyone could test running a D/Port @ DC-Power ? |
