Or confirming for yourself the effects of your tweaking...

I guess we could all just use stock drivers, all the bloatware from Dell and just be happy with our small penises though.

seems kind of odd that they come out with a 3DMark06, they usually skip a year or 2. But looking at some screen shots, it looks like it's just a revamped 3DMark05. Nevertheless, I can't wait.

I'm pretty sure it's because the speed of graphics card improvement has gone up, and people are getting 14000+ 3dmark05 scores with 7800gtx 256 sli, and they originally intended for 5000 to be the score of an almost top of the line machine in each version of 3dmark.
