I guess that "one in a whatever" chance is why lappies are sent not charged.

Hmmmm.
There must be a way to send a new power management driver wrapped in an exe. file to someone...

That reminds me of a BASIC program my friend came up with. It Turned off all fans while spinning the hard drive at top end and all the floppy drives reading at once. Enventually it would do some damage.
