If it just says Bluetooth Services in that menu should I still disable it?

I got the 1400 drivers from that CD of I think Page 12 to work with my 350 bluetooth. But the range is so bad that I think I get a usb Class 1 Bluetooth stick for decent quality. The range of the internal one is really only to synchronise your portable or for using your Sony portable as a mediastation remote. For skype or Sipcalls quality just sux.

I can't get my 355 Bluetooth adapter to start the Headset service when my Motorola HS850 headset connects. It will start the Audio Gateway though...

The most excellent description by KAROLOYDI on how to install the Widcomm drivers works exactly as promised for my Zoom PCMCIA Bluetooth card. For some reason though, the A2DP didn’t work (but everything else did, and CPU use was nice and low).

Fortunately, Toshiba’s new Bluetooth drivers (version 5.10.06) at http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/pages/download.php at long last appear to have fixed the 100% CPU use. Just a straight uninstall of the previous drivers/stack, and install the new one.

I am running bluesoleil - 2.3.0.0

I love it & have yet to have any issues with it. I have not used a BT mouse with my setup (I play FPS) and have noticed BT still has some latency/disconnection issues that I don't feel like dealing with.

I use it to link up my HT820 headset, DC800 base unit, as well as my A920 phone for EVDO service

Needed to install the Widcomm Drivers (from page 1) so that I could use Activesync with my new D620 paired with my PPC-6700. THANKS!!!

This all seems really complicated just to use a different bluetooth stack. Does anyone prefer Microsoft's over Dells for the BT355 + EDR

Hmm I have it installed on all of my machines (2 with 355/2 with 350) w/o any issues.
Were you installing the legal version, the demo, or a hacked version.
