Old news really.. They stopped shipping the 9300 with the WUXGA and 6800DO a few weeks ago. Yeah it sucks! There are a number of people here who want the 9300 with the WUXGA screen.

In norway, we still get the WUXGA screen. Just to make sure, this screen has sort of a glass-finish right?

The 6800NU however has been cut from the setup. Kinda stupid that they don't have an upgrade to like an x700 128mb. That would help alot.

I think Dell is going to pull the 9300 soon, as the E1705 is replacing it.

They want a but load for that gpu upgrade though.. I'm one of the lucky ones who got the 7800GTX for 252.22. Their asking $224.00 for the 7800GO. Still... very nice find!

Too bad you can't pinmod a Core Solo. I would guess that it would be possible; but I don't think the mobo will support a higher FSB than it comes at; and its a new card, so there's no older, slower FSB cards.

I'd assume they can be switched out; but the Pentium M and the Core Solo aren't the same (AFAIK); so there isn't a slower FSB model that you can buy on ebay.

It's nice that the Core Solo is 667mhz FSB though; so that would add some speed that the Pentium M doesn't have. But still, 1.6ghz is not 31337.
