Exclamation Dell Diagnostic Software ISO?

Just wondering if anyone has a link to an ISO for this utility that will work on a Dell 9300 ... i believe its version 1257. I have since removed all partitions on the hard drive .... Oops!

Psychokitty has a few people on his/her side.
I would be interested, too.
I have the 9200, and in cloning my HDD to a larger one, I can no longer access the file. (Or I just dunno how.)

It's on the Dell site. Not an ISO, but should work for what you want.

Actually that won't work considering my drive is NTFS and the utility needs to be loaded onto a Fat partition ... which i don't feel like doing ....still looking for an easier way ..... Anyone? Link to an ISO?

Well I'm not exactly sure what you are asking for, but I have the OEM disks from Dell that says it contains the Device drivers and Diagnostic and utilities. Is this what you are looking for? It's 589mb in size. If so, let me know so I'll make an image and upload it to my website.

I've been creating bootable CD's and USB flash drives containing the Dell Diagnostics for a while now: http://images.lunarpages.com/uxga/dos/bios/

Dell 32 bit Diagnostics build 1265 CD bootable image

Dell 32 bit Diagnostics build 1265 for USB Flash Drive
(Requires minimum of 64MB USB Drive)

BTW: Dell has also uploaded a bootable .iso to their ftp site: http://support.dell.com/support/down...&fileid=150859

I did see that ... the version that is supposed to be used with the 9300 is version 1257. I figured version 1265 would be incompatible. In other words why didn't Dell update this version for the 9300 on their website?

Build1265 supports newer (I9400) systems but is also backwards compatible with older notebooks (I9300)...

Just call Dell for a disk. They sent me system disks when I did a clean install of XP.
