nVidia ForceWare Version 87.15 Vista Build 5308 Released

Nvidia released beta drivers for the 5308 build of Vista

Forceware 87.15

I thought I had seen somewhere that you can mod the INFs to allow installation for Go vid cards?
EDIT: All this is is a zip of about 4 files to update the drivers...all you do is manually change your driver, tell it to use that inf, then choose 7800 gtx, works fine!

brightsons, it should only be a matter of modifying the installers INF file to recognize the Go 7800GTX from Dell as a support card.

Installing Drivers on your laptop
1. First, download the drivers from Nvidia's or whatever you choose and save to desktop.
2. Open Zipscan bypass the wizard tool so you are at the Zipscan window itself
Here is where you can download it
http://www.zipscan.co.uk/
3. Click File then select OPEN ARCHIVE FILE Brows the downloaded driver and open it. Highlight all using CRTL-A .Then click on the EXTRACT FILES button on the left hand side. Name & Create a destination to desktop
4. Open Device manager click Display adaptors then right click your video card select update driver. The wizard will display selet the option no not this time then click next then select the option install from a list or specific location (advanced) then click next then select the option Don’t search I will choose the Driver to install then click next. Click the have Disc button. Then double click on the extrated folder saved to desktop then copy the path from that window then paste the path into the install from disc window then click ok agree to all follow prompt until told to reboot.
