You posted this twice? I think we are aware you dont like it. But you dont own it, it belongs to your roomate. It might be the best thing since sliced bread to him and thats fine..what works for him might not work for you. But then hate it or not your using it..dont like it stop and find another one to use while yours is being fixed..

sorry. I didn't realize I posted it twice. The first time I tried posting my browser died.

What I wanted to get out of this thread is to find out what is so great about this laptop compared to others. I can't see anything this laptop is better than. I love my roomate. I've known him for 15 years. I just want to know why he made his decision to spend thousands on this laptop. He's pretty smart. I just want to know why.

I didn't expecd to be called names and stuff for this thread. I just wanted to get some insight as to why this laptop might be better than others.

1. It has good battery life for the power it has

2. It was one of the first centrino 2 + x700

now the lcd isnt that great
