Throttling Temps
I was reading posts on another site of users with Dell laptops complaining of throttling issues and someone mentioned that the fsb speed is throttled when the northbridge hits 60deg.
They never specified which laptop model or gfx card they have I used just wondering if anyone knows if the XPS had a similar setup where the system throttled using the northbrige temp. I noticed my fps goes from 60 (vsync limited) to 30 sometimes for different periods of time in hl2 games. I know it can't be the graphics card cos that only hits 91deg max ( )Since mine hovers at 55 idle I was a little worried. I wish i9k fangui had a max temp display for all the temperatures...

This may explain why Star Wars: Empire at War gets choppy on me sometimes when the northbridge hits 60 C.
