How do mobile and desktop graphics cards compare?
I am a little lost as to whether the mobile version of a graphics card is equivalent to the desktop one or not? If not, by how much is it lower? Here are some cards I am thinking for comparison:
x700 mobility vs the regular x700pro 6800go vs 6800 vanilla 7800GTX go vs 7800GTX |

Its hard to say exactly how much, but dekstop cards performn noticeably better.

Well, I can tell you an x700 pro performs FAR better than a mobility x700. Its more fair to compare the x700 mobility to a regular x700. Look around for benchmarks though. They're half way decent comparesons.
