Possible Preproduction model 9400 with 7900 go

On this site http://www.lesdelliens.com/index.php...ic&p=3884#3884
Look in the administrators signature. It translates to this.

9400/2.16 Ghz/7900 Go (yes yes you will see!)/2 Go 667/100 Go 7200 tr/Btooth (lost parcel, new "préproduction") 9300/1.86 Ghz/6800 Go/1,5 Go 533/60 Go 5400 tr/Btooth 6000/1.6 Ghz/GMA 900/512 Mo/60 Go 5400 tr

This is the same guy with tag jsweyth that has been posting his links to the xps 1710. This might be just a wishlist item for him or something but I wanted to point it out.

I think my 7800 may just need to be replaced by Dell when the 7900 comes out lol

I am so lucky cause I ask for third replacement but I am on the waiting list or cancel list for the 7800go... so as soon as the 7900go is available I will cancel then buy a new system...

so is there a problem with the 7800 Go that we should be worried about? I have one in my 9400, so far no probs, but should I ask for a replacement?

9400

I have an e1705 also with 7800 go and im gonna try to get a replacement from dell if they offer the 7900. There has to be a heat issue. At stock nvidia clocks 350/850 I think, my gpu hits 84c in nvidia and 78c in i9kfangui when gaming for an hour or so. Why else would have dell underclocked it at 250/658. it runs ok for now but at these temps im wondering how long its gonna hold up.

ha. Till the GPU cooks itself (which I highly doubt it will). I would'nt expect getting a replacement.

Face it, the 7800 is running fine at stock speeds in 95% percent of the cases.

No problem man. Just let 3dmark06 loop for about a week straight in a warm room.

The 7800go is "dead". This was confirmed by the european technical supervisor to me. They predict a new card (7900 i think) until May.
