Need new HDD for Toshiba Satellite Pro M10
Hi there,
my original Toshiba MK4021GAS just died in my Satellite Pro M10. I thought to simply buy a new MK4021GAS to simply swap old vs. new one, but ran into an "IDE #0 error" during startup of my notebook.  I noticed that the new MK4021GAS had a Compaq P/N in addition on its label, so I assume that only Toshiba certified HDDs will work in my notebook. Yagh.Thus, can anyone here please post his or her experiences of which HDDs work within a Satellite Pro M10 (Type PS630E-G207V-GR)? Please advise. TIA, Joachim. |
