Toshiba Satellite A75 Restore CD, Drivers

Anyone have an A75 Restore CD. I just purchased a laptop from a friend of mine and have had to fix a few problems with it. However, they did not have the restore cd for it so I don't have anything for it basically and the operating system is not intact it's scrambled to junk. Need help please.

Me too!

Hey, I just did a new posting for the same issue with an A75-S229 running XP Home. I guess you don't want to pay Toshiba the $40.00 either. If I get my hands on one I will let you. I would appreciate it if you would do the same for me. Thanks,

Good News!

I just got off the phone with my parents and my father thinks he actually found the restore for their laptop. They are sending it to me. If it turns out to be the correct disk I will let you know and get a copy to you.

Thank you very much....

Hey sorry didn't get back to you sooner, but being in the military doesn't give me a chance to spend much time at home. However, I do appreciate your help as I will let you know the same. I really don't want to spend that kind of money through toshiba. As of current I came accross someone that had a toshiba recovery cd in a toorent and am still trying to download it, but it has been 2.5 weeks now that I've been waiting on it. Will let you know if anything comes up though and once again thank you for your help and time. Still need replacement parts for it. It seems Toshiba isn't what it is all cracked up to be still need to find a replacement....dc adapter jack, headphone jack, and a battery anyone knows where to find cheap let me know thank you in advance.

You won't believe it

My father finally found his original restore DVD. I now have it and my problem is solved. If you still need it, send me a mailing address in a private messge. I will burn you a copy and send it to you as soon as I get a chance to do so.

Toshiba Satellite A75-S229

I have a Toshiba Satellite A75-S229. I bought it off of a friend and had to do repair work. The CDs that were given to me are for a Gateway Notebook. I am having to start over from scratch. My friend does not remember her admin. password for the windows so I am having to redo windows. It has Windows XP on it now. I am in need of the operating system cd and drivers. does anyone happen to know how I can get this. If you have these cds that I am needing can you make me a copy of them. I will send you blank cds to use. I already have the keycode just need the cds. I could really use the recovery cd as well.

Thanks,
In Desperate Need of Help
