command and conquer generals
im having troubles playing this game on my area-51m it loads but shortly after locks up. anyone experience any similar problems . please help thanx u. all other games seem to work fine but they using direct x 9 c& c use 81 could this be a problem?

I dont have much of a problem playing C&C on my Area 51m (except when my roommate nukes all my power even though we're allies).
Did you update the game and nVidia/ATi software to their respective latest versions?

i posted the same question here not too long ago. someone sugested to use the omega drivers, and it worked for me! c&c generals and zero hour is the first game i installed, and i thought there was something wrong w/my system when it kept freezing like that at the menu. you could get the latest omega drivers here, http://www.omegacorner.com
