Well I got mine with a 5400 rpm 60gb drive. I must say its plenty fast even for gaming, and I have 0 problems. I have heard mixed things about the 7200. For certain it is faster by some amount, but in one bench it lost 5% battery life, and in another it gained 2%...so who knows. I just couldn't find any info myself on the heat output and noise so I passed.
