Duo users: New nVidia driver

http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/...showtopic=9724

OMG, These drivers are awesome. I mean, wow...

They have an option for threaded optimization and it made a huge improvement for me. I was getting about 20fps in Skingrad @ 1920x1200, jumped to 35fps.

And now, even when my frames get lower than 20 its still responsive. These are keepers for me.

Just a small warning --

I've been getting a bunch of 2D artifacts since installing this driver and enabling threading optimization on my M1710 with the 7900 GTX. That said, it does look very promising if you can get it to run well on your machine.

Same here.. I quit using it. Something is wrong.. BTW, where is the option for thread optimization? I did not see it..

Hmmm... Sounds like works great on some, awful on others...?

Either way, thanks for the heads up! 20-35FPS is a huge increase!

Yea, its sweet. Outside with grass at half I averaged about 5-7fps more. Not too bad. It feels so much smoother now though. GRAW has improved quite nicely too. BF2 seems identical.
