sli Pre-Orders

Ok, just to get an idea of how far behind I am in the order list...

How many of you have pre-ordered sli (either m9700's or the mALX's) before 6.19.2006???

For the fun of it, post your order date and "supposed" delivery date.

I ordered an mALX on 6-2 and my 'supposed' shipping date is 6-26. My contact called me today and told me that there was a part shortage and they didn't expect the mALX line to start shipping until the first week in July.

Yeah, I was bummed when they told me the date was pushed back a little. They didn't seem to enthused when I asked them if they'd go ahead and send me my pen, backpack, and headphones. lol. I was told 'Those can't ship until the computers do'.

I'm not sure about the 9700's, but I was told the first batch of mALX's sold out last Wednesday. Anyone who ordered before that gets one of the first line. Anyone after has at least another week or so added onto their date, thats past the already pushed back ship date. I'd guess the 9700's are selling faster, but you ordering the 31st, I'd guess you were one of the first 9700 shipment.

The only thing that might cause problems are two brand new computer systems that all use the same type of processor. If they run short, I really hate to say it, they'll probably honor the more expensive shipments first. But from what I was told its the cases that are holding back both the mALX and 9700, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I'm a looser as well since I've since almost 10 month an m7700 with a 6800Go Ultra!!
I hope for you to have better video driver support for your NVIDIA,...because I'm not happy with my 6800Go Ultra video driver..,,

You know, just use Omegadrivers or one of the other sources, if you have to send it in, stick the cheesy, cheapo official drivers back in and play dumb.

I''ve the same problem too with antialias and FS2004 at default screen resolution 1650*1080 (but how is possible that Alienware or NVIDIA don't give any assistance?)....but I read somewhere on the web the NVIDIA preatty soon will support also the GF6 Go family like the counterpart ATI that is supporting all the mobile chip nowaday ;-)
