govtcheez thanks! Im really really liking this little baby. It seems to be a really nice well balanced little lappy..
Boom..nooooo didn't mean 4 gigs now..I ment couple years down the line when 2 gigs is what 512 is today lol Anyone know how Wi-fi works? I have it but I don't have wireless..and my lappy will blow my car battery so i never bothered with taking it in the car..to hot and heavy..but this m1210 i could take to the beach on 4 hours battery..listen to the waves and get some work done.. Anyway how does wi-fi work when your not home..do you need like a t-moble account..does it just pick up on someone with wireless in the area and piggy back off them? I saw Verizon charges over 50 a month for moble wireless access..way to much.. T-moble charges 20 a month which is reasonably..providing if im close enough to pick it up.. Not an issue at home..was just trying to figure out how it works if im like at the beach..

What is the native resolution of the screen? Dell's site says XGA, but in the review it mentioned WXGA.
Thanks for the great review. I just wish the lappy had a DVI port too. Hopefully on the next revision they may put an HDMI port on it too, that would be awesome. Can't wait to see what Dell does with this model when Merom comes out.

^ Its WXGA.
Very nice review, I would plonk some of my own cash down on one of these if I had it to spare.... I think that the 7400go beats the MR9700 I have in my notebook which is a 15.4" model, amazing to see in an 'ultraportable' Stu

quite well at medium settings. I was pretty shocked, but I think the 2GB of memory definitely helps.

BF2 is a memory hog...so you're right about the 2 GB helping so much. and the video card you have in there isn't too shabby either, its new tech, and my old X800XT still runs it fine.

Well govtcheez, its been a few weeks now. How are you liking the M1210 now that you've had time to use it for a while? Still no heat issues after prolonged use?
