Geforce Go 7600 3D rendering

Is it any good. I would like to play games like C&C Generals, Stronghold 2, Battle for Middle Earth 2, RCT 3.

I currently have a ATI Radeon 9250 for my desktop and it works ok. It runs about med to high on those games.

well any video card and do it, heck, i have a Geforce 5600 and do 3d max and iClone version 1.0 every once and awhile. It serves me well and i think go 7600 would also be good for what you wanna do

7600go should be able to play all of those games on high, probably with AA as well.

yes if all the games you want to play are those than you should be fine with a 7600.

Check out this link... and if it helps postive "rep" me... Read the write up, check out the links.

Mobile Graphics Card Comparison Chart

If you're looking for a gaming laptop, Or doing graphic intensive work the GPU should be your top priority.

GPU is the "video card" for those of you who don't know.

http://www.notebookforums.com/thread157799.html

PS: 7600 rates pretty decent... check out the above info

WeAreNotAlone- We should try to gather benchmarks for all of those cards to give some frame of reference. And maybe I could put together a Quadro list.

if you guy are indeed going to benchmark please dont only use 3dmark because its badly biased. actual game demos would be nice. like the reivews at guru3d.com

I totally agree with 3dmark. Sad thing is, everyone here uses it solely.

Your 9250 is a P.O.S. of a card. The 7600 is in a totally different category.

If you think your 9250 plays games "ok".. you will be speechless when you'll get a 7600...

How is 3DMark biased? Are you going to tell me that there are certain things that Futuremark does so it looks like it runs better on a nVIDIA card, or vice versa for ATI?

And to the OP, if your old ATI card can run them fine, then wouldn't a 7600 run them at an amazing pace? If you're not sure, then why not Google up some benchmarks, or search around on the forums? Search is always your friend...

a simple example is x1600 vs 6600gt for desktop. x1600 scores more yet it is slower than the 6600gt in almost every single game

Hey guys,

Some jerk just gave me a bunch of "neg rep" for above link to the Mobile Graphics Card Comparison Chart

http://www.notebookforums.com/thread157799.html

and (1) minute later (LOL) I get a neg rep that knocks my rep score way down... it being worded like it's from someone else... NEG rep not being "signed", person not MAN enough to "sign" their neg rep...

No PM, No chance to correct the info... And I find it very strange that a thread that has not been getting allot of hits at all suddenly gets a post saying "naa this aint right 7900 gs has so much more potential than 7800 gtx...when overclocked 7900 gs owns it"....

And then only (1) minute later someone "else" gives a neg rep saying: "ya dude read lords post 7900 gs can outperform 7800gtx easy"...

The neg rep being worded like it was someone else who just "happened" to see lordoflands post.. had read thru all the info and then decided to post a neg rep.... all within (1) minute of lordoflands post.

Very strange.

I guess the person who neg repped me can't read because I even state in the first line right after the BOLD section ends that it was re-post from another board, all credit going to the orginal author

Author's name is stated, link to the orginal thread in case new info needs to be added...

A neg rep that I'll bet came from a Dell owner. Gives a neg rep without even PM'ing someone. giving them a chance to update, correct something.(LOL)

Note for the record the 7900GS is indeed a very good card.... Thing is if you read the info /check out the orginal thread the AUTHOR of the write up he answered a post by someone who asked "WHY" he didn't include all the overclocking fiqures and benchmarks for every single GPU on the market.

(May be wrong but I think he was saying it was a stock to stock comparsion when asked "why" he didn't mention cards that perform better than another when overclocked.)

I thought there was allot of usefull info in that thread /post and in the links... for persons in the market that are being told by salesmen selling units with low, low, low, low end GPU's that the GPU will run anything you throw at it well.
