JJ987 is a n00b, but everyone loves n00bs!
Why is the W3J so much more then the S96J?

I am trying to figure this out, maybe iam missing something. I can buy a similiar spec'd s96j for about $400 and it has a bigger screen, which i normally thought was meaning a bigger price. So, why is the W3J so much more when it has a 14 in screen? What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

I think for one W3J use carbon fibre casing while S96J don't.

Better chassis build quality.

Also, with notebooks, smaller size is at a premium since it means higher efficiency parts that can run with less cooling and space.....especially when you're talking about a scorching GPU like the X1600.

also W3J is 14" and it's hard to find a 14" with a decent video card....

one reason why i got it, was because it looked cooler.

in my world it justifies a little bit of the extra cost

W3 serie looks very nice and I would say it looks way better than S96J.. maybe that's the reason? I am willing to pay more for "looking cool" purpose.
