Yeah, mine performed the same in SuperPi. I was about 2000 behind in 3dmark05 and only about 700 in 3dmark06. I'm hoping with 2 gigs of ram and a little overclocking I can get up close to those numbers. I love this machine. F.E.A.R. is still a hardware beast...

I'm running FEAR at 1600x1200 with high or max settings and it is running very smoothly. Mind you, I also have 2GB ram

The culprit for F.E.A.R. seems to be sound. If I turn sound quality to minimum, things shoot up a lot. I'm still averaging 45-60fps at max (4xAA/16xAF) at 1024 res. I'm happy.

I was going to say "would a PCCard audio card help" but of course the M90 doesn't have one. It has an Expresscard slot instead:

These currently seem to be under-supported

Actually, now I'm running it in widescreen at native res (1440x900) with no AA and sound back at max and it runs fantastically. I could probably turn AA up to 2x and make it look amazing with a little hit in performance, but I like these framerates, so I think I'll just leave it as it is.
