athlon 64 3400+
I heard this processor creates much more heat then the 3200+ is this true? How hot does it run?

I don't know exactly how much heat it generates, but you can check on AMD.com and go to the technical specs on each processor. It won't reflect how well or how poorly each laptop cools that chip, but will give you a basis to compare models.
If two processors are based on the same technology (ie: P4 (northwood) 3.06 vs. 3.2 or AMD XP (barton) 2800+ vs. 3200+, AMD64Mobile 3000+ vs. 3400+) the faster chip will always generate more heat. |
